For true Christian Discipleship to take place, you must invest your lives in the life of another just as a father and mother does with a newborn baby.

This includes nurturing, equipping, and eventually releasing that person once they have come to maturity.

 It must be understood that every Christian is in a continuing education program - it is a journey, a process.

The more we know of Christ and His work, the more we can choose to "walk in the Spirit," the more we will become like Him.

This process is a lifelong journey - we must never stop learning and obeying.

If you're a new Christian, coming back to Christ after a period of doubt, trying to process the "big picture" or just need a refresher course you most likely have a lot of questions like:

"What am I supposed to do now?" 
 
 
"What am I supposed to be like?"

Spirit-filled believers serve the Lord in their moment-by-moment lives, there is a tendency to become "self-led" - relying more on our fleshly desires than the Holy Spirit's presence and power.

It becomes important to ask for a refueling by the Holy Spirit in order that His power may be replenished.

As said, the command in Ephesians 5:18 is literally, "Keep on being filled with the Spirit."

Herein lies the key to Spirit-filled living...

...Spirit-filled life is a continuous process of receiving and giving, of being filled and sharing with others, of receiving power from God and spending it in His service.
